George has an incredible military and franchising background that makes him ideally suited to offer advice and perspective to veterans seeking business ownership through franchising.

George grew up as an Air Force brat and learned a real appreciation for military family life. He graduated from University of Southern Mississippi, where he played Division 1 football for the Golden Eagles. Upon graduation, George served 31 years as an Air Force civilian and attended Air Command & Staff College and Air War College at Maxwell AFB, He assisted in the stand up of Joint Basing in San Antonio and represented the Air Force in the Base Realignment (BRAC 05) process with the City of San Antonio and the State of Texas. He retired as a GS-15, Chief of Staff at the 502 Air Base Wing, Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) at Fort Sam Houston, TX.

Upon retirement from Air Force civilian service, George was selected to operate a Chick-fil-A in Amarillo, Texas. Being selected as a Chick-fil-A operator is an approximately one-year process with a selection rate of 0.2%. He was an Owner/Operator for 9 years and more than doubled annual sales and earned the annual top award of Symbol of Success and Champion Club designation for increasing sales by over 25% in CY 2019. George is a certified John Maxwell Life Coach.

He retired from Chick-fil-A in 2022 and joined Vetrepreneur as a way to pay homage to his love for the military to show his appreciation for those who seek small business ownership. George resides in the Houston area with his wife, Tammy and they have three adult children and a German Shepard named Leza.
