He is passionate about helping veterans successfully transition from service to the civilian sector. Judd also has practical experience with start-ups in the healthcare and restaurant industries. Judd served twenty years as a Pilot in the US Navy. His leadership roles ranged from an eleven-member aircrew in combat operations to a two-hundred fifty-member squadron in Pensacola, Florida. Judd qualified as a flight instructor during his first tour and continued teaching throughout his career, culminating as the Commanding Officer of the Red Knights of Training Squadron THREE. His team was honored to be named the best of 16 training commands in the Navy. 

Originally from Tennessee, Judd is an Eagle Scout. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering and his commission from the U.S. Naval Academy. After retirement from the Navy, he earned an MBA from the University of Tennessee with a focus in Entrepreneurship and Marketing. Judd is also the Chief Pilot for Stowers Machinery Corporation, the Caterpillar dealership in East Tennessee.

Judd is married to his high school sweetheart, the former Eliza Brown. They are blessed with two children, Jack and Maggie.
