Sarah loves the world of franchising and has been on every side of the franchising industry: representing franchisors, being a franchise consultant, and owning a fitness and senior care franchise.  Sarah loves working with candidates to see if business ownership makes sense for their goals and lifestyle and then finding well-suited matches.   Sarah has assisted close to 100 candidates in achieving their dream of small business ownership through franchising.

After graduating from the Naval Academy, Sarah served as a Surface Warfare Officer (SWO) on a supply ship and as a Meteorology and Oceanograpy (METOC) officer stationed in Pearl Harbor, HI (somebody had to do it!).  Her military influence is life-long.  Sarah’s father was a retired Navy Chief and her husband Don also served in the military.  After leaving the Navy in 1996, Sarah worked for General Mills in operations and manufacturing and Boston Market, where she ran a region consisting of 50 restaurants.

Sarah loved corporate America but had always had the entrepreneurship bug. Still, she didn’t want to ‘reinvent the wheel,’ so she looked at franchises for over two and a half years and even attended a Discovery Day before determining she needed more expert help.  She soon found a franchise coach and bought her first franchise ten weeks later.  She knows what it’s like to eat at the franchise buffet, but having a trusted guide through the process is invaluable, and she is committed to providing the same service to veterans and their families.

Sarah has been married for almost 33 years to Don Brown, and her lovely mother, DeeDee, has made her home with them since 1996.  Sarah is a fitness enthusiast and likes to lift weights, ride her Peleton, and kickbox, and she does most of those things with her puppy, Audrey.  Her other passion is reading, and she tries to read 2 to 3 books/week.
