WHY HOME SERVICES?
Mow the lawn. Fix the AC. Paint the house. Manage a property. Repair what breaks.
Homeowners increasingly turn to professionals to save time, solve problems and take care of work they can’t—or simply don’t want to—do themselves.
Behind each of those everyday needs is a business. This event gives you a first look at what it could be like to own one.
This isn’t about choosing a franchise in one afternoon. It’s about getting a first look at franchise ownership, learning what questions to ask and beginning a structured process to determine whether franchising—and which opportunities—may be right for you.

GET STARTED AND SEE IF YOU QUALIFY
Once completed, qualified candidates will be able to attend the first look experience on September 18 and move forward with a Franchise Coach.
Select the option that best describes your military connection.
Why this matters: This helps us understand your background
and route your readiness profile correctly.
Liquid cash includes cash or access to retirement accounts or investments that can be liquidated into cash.
Why this matters: Franchise options vary by available capital, so this helps us narrow the right starting point.
Net worth is calculated as the total value of your assets minus your total liabilities.
Why this matters: Some brands and funding paths look at the full financial picture, not just cash on hand.
Why this matters: Credit can affect funding conversations and timing, but it does not define the whole picture.
Why this matters: Some states have different franchise registration rules, so routing matters.
Why this matters: Your timing helps us match the conversation to where you are now.
Why this matters: This helps us connect you with the right coach availability.
We’ll use this to respond to your request and route your readiness check.
Financial readiness questions are used to route the right next step. Funding access does not equal ownership readiness.
Why We Ask for Financial Information. Many franchisors have minimum requirements for capital, net worth, and credit score. Sharing this information upfront helps ensure you’re matched with the right franchise opportunities from the start. Your information is secure and will never be shared without your permission.
YOUR PATH TO FRANCHISE OWNERSHIP
AFTER EVENT: GO DIRECT TO THE FRANCHISE OR SCHEDULE YOUR DISCOVERY CALL
You may already pay someone to maintain your lawn, repair your HVAC, paint your home or manage a property. But what does it look like from the owner’s side of the business?
The Vetrepreneur® Virtual Franchise Fair gives qualified Veterans and military families a structured way to find out. During the live virtual event, choose from moderated 15-minute First Look sessions and hear directly from franchise representatives and current franchise owners.
Each 15-minute First Look gets quickly to what matters—how the business works, what the owner actually does, the challenges, support and ownership experience—then gives you a chance to ask your own questions.
Want to go deeper? Connect 1:1 with participating franchise teams that interest you. After the Fair, your next step is a Discovery Call with a Veteran Franchise Coach to review what you learned and determine the best path forward.
The franchises featured during First Look are examples of what’s possible—not personalized recommendations.
Home Services is the theme, but your options don’t stop there. During your Discovery Call, your Veteran Franchise Coach will help you take a closer look at your goals, lifestyle, skills, interests, location and financial resources. If a participating franchise caught your interest, your Coach can help you continue exploring it. You can also explore additional opportunities from more than 600 franchise brands that may fit what you’re looking for.
Our mission isn’t to sell you a franchise—it’s to help you make a confident, informed decision.
Vetrepreneur® Franchise Coaching builds on more than two decades of experience helping shape the Veteran business movement—and brings that experience to helping Veterans evaluate franchise ownership with confidence.
Explore 7 Home Services franchise opportunities through live First Look sessions, hear directly from franchise representatives and current franchise owners, then connect 1:1 with participating franchise teams you want to learn more about. The best part is, you can all engage in discussions with your coach collectively, ensuring everyone is aligned and contributing to the business’s prosperity.

Business ownership is not for everyone. In fact, it’s not for most people. Our goal is to enable you to decide if it is for you by walking you through a comprehensive, 10-step, 10-week process. You may exit the process at any point you are able to make that decision.
Most franchise consultants are a one-man band with a wide variety of experience level and service consistency. By contrast, Vetrepreneur is a team of professionals dedicated to helping you find your best path to owning and operating your own business. You’ll have access your dedicated person Franchise Coach, client support team and franchise portal access with information and resources needed throughout your journey. We have connections to funding & loan experts, CPAs, accountants, credit repair specialists and legal specialists as needed along the way.
A critically important part of the Vetrepreneur Franchise Coaching process is matching you with Franchises that align with you in our six key areas: your why, your fears, current and desired lifestyle, skills and interests, geographical preferences and financial resources. Our process ensures that you spend valuable time exploring franchises that are best suited for long term success and that you are guided and educated at every step along the journey. Conversely, shortchanging our process by going to a “franchise buffet” wastes everyone’s time and does a disservice to both the prospective franchisee as well as the franchisor.
We offer a wide range of franchise opportunities to suit your needs, whether you’re interested in a home-based, brick-and-mortar, or mobile franchise. Our extensive portfolio of over 600 franchises spans 15 major industries, offering clients an average of 40 options per industry—making it easier to find a franchise that aligns with your goals and resources.
As proud members of the International Franchise Professionals Group (IFPG), we connect you with top franchises that are designed to help you succeed.
They’re looking for people who can execute their business plans in a local market. As a franchise owner, you have three primary jobs: 1. Lead your employees. 2. Manage the resources of the business. 3. Act as the face and voice of the business to customers and the community.
You don’t need to be all of those things. Few people are. But you must know your weak areas and surround yourself with others who can cover your blind spots. Specific skills and intangibles that franchisors seek include :
1. The ability to follow a proven process.
2. Build, lead, manage and inspire teams.
3. Desire to serve your community.
4. Customer and relationship-focused.
5. Self-starter.
6. Grit and determination
7. Takes advantage of the support resources at the franchisor and fellow franchisee levels.
Sound like what was expected of you in the military?
No! You do need to have the attributes that make for a great franchise owner. But you don’t need to be an expert. (Example: You don’t need to be an electrician to run an electrical franchise).
-You don’t need a business degree or business ownership experience.
-You don’t need an idea for a start-up business.
The franchisor will train you in everything you need to know to be successful in the business and will provide ongoing training and support. Also, just like the mentality in the military, franchisees can lean on other franchisees in the system for advice and support.
