Is the Franchise Academy program free?
Our franchise coaching services are 100% free and it won’t cost you any less by going direct to a franchise. Similar to having a real estate agent, we are paid by franchisors if and when you become a franchisee.
Can I bring my spouse or partner with me?
Absolutely! We encourage you to bring your spouse or partner, even if they will not be part of the day-to-day activities, as you’ll most likely be making decisions together. Additionally, you can bring in a cosigner or partner(s) to join your venture. Having multiple stakeholders, such as groups of veterans, family members, or any combination thereof, who are deeply invested in the business’s success often increases the likelihood of achieving high levels of success. The best part is, you can all engage in discussions with your coach collectively, ensuring everyone is aligned and contributing to the business’s prosperity.
If I start the Academy process, am I obligated to go through the whole process of buying a franchise?
Business ownership is not for everyone. In fact, it’s not for most people. So you are free to exit the process at any point with no obligation.
Do I need experience or need to be an expert in a specific area first?
What you DON’T need to get started.
- You don’t need to be an expert. (Example: You don’t need to be an electrician to run an electrical franchise)
- You don’t need a business degree or experience
- You don’t need an idea for a start-up business
The franchisor will provide comprehensive training on everything you need to know to be successful in the business, along with ongoing training and support. Additionally, similar to the camaraderie in the military, franchisees can rely on one another for advice and support within the franchise system.
What if I miss a session?
All sessions are recorded and available for later viewing in your Vetrepreneur® Portal access.
How do I access program materials?
Program materials will be available online and accessible anytime.
Can I get a list of franchises?
An important part of the Vetrepreneur Franchise Coaching process is matching you with Franchises that align with you in four areas: lifestyle desires, professional skills, geographical preferences and financial capacity. Our process ensures that you spend valuable time exploring franchises that are best suited for long term success and that you are guided and educated at every step along the journey. Conversely, shortchanging our process by going to a “franchise buffet” wastes everyone’s time and does a disservice to both the prospective franchisee as well as the franchisor.
