Step 5 - Franchisor Calls

The discovery and education process is in full swing at this point!  You have been introduced to 2-3 franchisors and will have the opportunity to have initial conversations with them.  Franchisors may ask you to register in their system, read some materials or watch some videos prior to that initial call.  Your coach will schedule a 10-minute follow-up with you after each of your Franchisor calls to ascertain what you liked and what you didn’t like.

Your Coach will help you with franchisor introductions. Put these calls on your calendar and be ready dive deeper into each franchise opportunity.

Franchisors may ask you to register in their system, read some materials or watch some videos prior to that initial call.

The questions below are common questions that should be asked by any potential franchisee candidate to glean additional information in making a decision to move forward with that franchise.

Fill out the notes area for each franchise opportunity to keep track of all the information you’ll be gathering from your call to the additional content they may provide.

Your coach will schedule a 10-minute follow-up with you after each of your Franchisor calls to ascertain what you liked and what you didn’t like.

Questions to Ask the Franchisors

Take the time to write notes on each franchise opportunity in the notes area under each question. Mention the franchise opportunity before answering the question. When you are finished taking notes on a franchise, click save button and the note will be saved below the form. You will then be able to start a new note for the next franchisor call.

At this point, you have a general idea of how you’re going to finance your franchise along with the specific financial requirements for your selected franchise. Now it’s time to talk to the financial service providers to custom fit a funding solution to fit your needs.
